After preparation works, which took nearly a year, \u201cAGA\u201d part of \u201cLinde\u201d group \u2013 one of the largest gas production companies\u2019 group in the world, has received permission to construct oxygen and nitrogen production plant in K\u0117dainiai Free Economic Zone. 20 million euros will be invested into gas production plant and completion of construction is expected by the end of next year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the basis of technological\nsolutions of \u201cLinde Engineering\u201d, design of production plant was prepared by\n\u201cBaltic Engineers\u201d \u2013 company having many years of experience in industrial\ndesign. According to the news release, other partners of construction, hardware\nmounting and power supply for systems installation will be selected in the near\nfuture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have been searching for\nthe best place for construction of production plant for several months. The\ndecision to choose K\u0117dainiai Free Economic Zone (FEZ) was made after evaluation\nof convenient geographic location and suitable infrastructure, and was also\ninfluenced by the successful negotiations with management of K\u0117dainiai FEZ, to\nwhom we are grateful for smooth cooperation and comprehensive support\u201d, – said\nDalius Klyvis, \u201cAGA\u201d Business Development Manager for Baltic region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has no doubts that air\nseparating production plant, located closer to customers will not only reduce\ntransportation costs and delivery time, but also ensure that environmental\nimpact is minimized. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
New gas production plant will be constructed on territory of 1 hectare. Here offices – household building, compressor building, rectification column, nitrogen and oxygen tanks, road-tankers filling stations and other technological equipment are planned to be constructed. Total area occupied by buildings, structures and other engineering equipment will cover around 1 200 m2<\/sup>. Compressor building will occupy 290 m2<\/sup> and offices building\u00a0 – 90 m2<\/sup>. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Most of the processes in\nproduction plant complex will be automated with employees and operators\nperforming functions of systems and technologies maintenance. Also, special\nattention in production plant will be paid to work safety \u2013 most modern safety\nstandards will be introduced and implemented in accordance with international\npractices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cComplex planned to be\nconstructed by company AGA is a prime example of future production, where the\nlatest automated solutions will be applied.
